Charlie has been boxing for just six months and although he has played chess since childhood he has only recently begun to study the game seriously. Until recently Charlie worked in the City specialising in solar energy investments, and is now doing finance things for an internet marketing start-up company.
Charlie used to live in South Africa where he worked on a game park and his dream is to return one day and manage his own safari business. Charlie’s friend’s call him the ‘vainest man on earth’ because he spends so much time in the gym and in front of the mirror. Charlie is also keenly interested in nutrition, real ale and pipe-smoking (though not when he’s in training). His ambition is to one day grow a handlebar moustache. |
