Witness the epic fight of the year! Dogukan Cinar (Tur) and Kamel Boudjahlat (Fr) face off in a title fight for the IFC World Champion crown in the -85kg / Elite (1500 - 1800 Elo) category.
Both of these fighters have already proven their worth by winning their previous respective bouts. Kamel defeated the formidable Maartenn Kamerling at IFC #2 in Paris, while Dogukan triumphed over Germany's Hasan Celik at IFC #3.
Dogukan is a CBX pioneer in Türkiye and is considered a favorite. He is the captain of the Turkish National Chessboxing Team and is a chess expert. He is known for his resilience and unwavering determination.
Kamel is the big brother of the France team and plays a key role in the team. He is also an important figure in the Chessboxing community in France.
In the recent documentary, "Mental Combat" (currently airing on Canal+), Kamel is shown as a charismatic leader, always ready to support his teammates and push them to reach the top. He is considered one of the greatest chessboxers in France.
This fight is more than personal, because the two men (both educators in their respective lives) have known and appreciated each other for a long time. They have been waiting for this moment for years, like us, to find out who will become the best in their category.
This last fight of the evening will mark the history of the IFC, and will be one of the most memorable events of the season. More friendship at this level of the competition.
