Enter the arena of the Master -65 kg A thrilling 2nd fight full of uncertainties! We were all impatient to see these two opposing styles clash: Paul advances and hits hard, with a lot of cardio while Tony takes it, but delivers it very cleanly. Paul was counted out once after a very nice hook to the liver. For his part, Tony was counted twice by referee Nader, without this really affecting the chess rounds that followed. In fact, the more he suffered in the ring, the better Tony became on the board. A real machine! Paul, for his part, showed signs of growing fatigue on the chessboard. Despite a solid lead, a mistake cost him dearly, allowing Tony to regain the advantage. Round 6 of the fight (available for replay on Twitch Sardoche) is a model of intensity in chessboxing. Aware that it was his last chance before losing at chess, Paul gave everything. Tony, like Rocky, took the blows, being on the verge of breaking, but held on. Finally, Tony won this extraordinary fight (Master category -65kg) in the 7th round by checkmate. A well-deserved victory for a memorable duel! |
